It is VERY HARD for us to let these kitties go as we are very attached to them and love them very much!! 

But it does become necessary for us to place some of our adults/retirees into loving homes

where they can become the center of attention and a wonderful, special companion.

All adults are spayed/neutered, are current on their vaccinations, are not to be declawed or allowed outdoors.

We would appreciate regular updates and would love to see pictures from time to time. 

Retired adults are typically between 1 and 6 years of age and are available for a minimal adoption fee.

McKaylah - aka Wee Kenna

"Wee" is a 4 year old red mackerel tabby with white female.  She is a good size girl, long in the body and very muscular and solid.  She is rather on the light side for a red but between litters gets a gorgeous, full, shaggy coat with a beautiful big ruff and she has majorly long lynx tips.  Personality wise she is hard to beat.  She is a part of everything around here, is outgoing, affectionate, talkative and hysterical!  She will sit on our laps or nearby, likes to be held and definitely likes to be talked to, as she will carry on a conversation with us.  Then she has her funny side and oh boy I mean it is FUNNY!!! :-)  When she gets "lit" she will stand on her tip toes on all four feet with her tail straight up and eyes big, then start kicking out her back feet with this little hop then dance across the floor in the same position.  Also while in "lit mode" she will stand full up on her back feet with her front feet straight out and bounce across the floor.  It is hysterical!!!!!!!!  Not matter how many times we see her do it, we crack up laughing to the point of crying.  Wee would do well in pretty much any kind of home as she gets along well with the other cats as well as our dogs.  She also has been loving and cute with children who have come to visit.

"Turkey"

Turkey is a 3 year old brown mackerel torbie & white (brown patch mctabby/white) female.  Turkey was recently spayed (12/7/07) and will be available to leave anytime after the first of the year.  She is not the biggest cat when you first see her but she has a very solid and powerful build and is quite hefty.  When she gets her full coat back it is shaggy and gorgeous.  She is very striking as she has very beautiful, feminine eyes and what a muzzle!  She gets a big, full ruff and thick belly shag, bloomers and tail (which she likes to curl up at the end, it's amazing the control she has over it).  Turkey is a very outgoing, personable cat who loves attention and being talked to, she also has the most adorable voice.  She does not like to be picked up necessarily but will come get on our laps for her loving.  She is still very much a kitten and LOVESSS to play!!!  She is very quick and fierce when it comes to a teaser toy! :-)  Turkey would do well in pretty much any type of home.  She gets along very well with the other cats and the dogs but would also probably do fine as an only cat.  She has always been great with any kids who have visited as well.
